The service
CoveredShift is business software for DSP agencies and group homes: shift posting, pickup, and coverage approval. Your agency holds the account; these terms apply to the agency and to every user it invites.
Acceptable use
- Use CoveredShift only for legitimate workforce scheduling within your agency.
- Keep your login credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Do not attempt to access another agency’s data, probe the service for vulnerabilities, or resell access.
- Do not enter clinical or medical record data — CoveredShift is a scheduling tool, not a care record system.
Not medical or clinical advice
CoveredShift provides scheduling and staffing-coverage information only. It does not provide medical, clinical, or care advice, and it is not a substitute for your agency's own compliance with staffing regulations and care standards.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available around the clock, but it is provided "as is" without an uptime guarantee during the MVP period. Keep your existing escalation process (phone numbers) as a fallback for critical coverage emergencies.
Termination
Your agency can stop using CoveredShift at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination we will, on request, provide an export of your agency's data before deletion.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which CoveredShift is organized (placeholder — set the specific state on legal review).
